If you move house at any time during the year you can change your name and address on the Electoral Register very easily by completing and returning a simple form available to download on these pages or by emailing us your details at elections@weymouth.gov.uk
The Election Services Office carries out a Canvass (like an Audit) of all the houses in the Borough every Autumn. We are required to do this, by law, every year. Every home in the the Borough should receive an electoral registration form which they should complete and return as soon as possible.
Any households that do not return their forms are sent reminders.
Households that do not return either form will be visited by Election Staff at least once - this is a legal requirement and it costs a lot of money.
If you have any questions on how to complete or return your form you can ring our contact team on 01305 838299 or email us elections@weymouth.gov.uk
With a Parliamentary Election being held in the near future – it is essential you return your form as soon as possible.
