Clinical waste and Syringes

Syringes and other hazardous waste will be cleared from public places when the Waste Management Unit is notified by the public. Please contact (01305) 838000 to advise if urgent.

Dead animals

The Waste Management Unit keeps a register of domestic animals found, listing the date, location found and a brief description. Naturally, any animals found with owner details on their collars will be contacted and dogs will be scanned for identification microchips.
